The annual meeting of Medicines for Europe took off yesterday at Sitges, Barcelona. This year, the event will be taking a look at the progress made in Europe after the pandemic, focusing on the impact of the revision of the EU pharmaceutical legislation on the off-patent industry – covering the sustainability of medicines markets, shortages and security of supply, generic, biosimilar and value added medicines market opportunities and intellectual property reforms.
Asphalion´s Managing Director, Núria Romero, is attending the meeting. Yesterday, at the Legal Affairs Conference session Ana Martí, from Medichem, discussed the importance of a resilient supply chain and industry in Europe and said that “generics are not commodities”, a statement to which our Managing Director fully agrees.
At Asphalion we are always up-to-date about the latest Regulatory developments, which allows us to be at the forefront of our sector.
