The European Shortages Monitoring Platform (ESMP) will officially go live with its full scope of functionalities on 29 January 2025, ahead of the legal deadline of 2 February 2025!
This marks a significant milestone in advancing public health crisis management and preparedness across Europe.
Key Highlights:
- Comprehensive Reporting Features: The ESMP will be fully operational for crisis and MSSG-led preparedness reporting, empowering Marketing Authorisation Holders (MAHs) and National Competent Authorities (NCAs) to efficiently report and manage information.
- Critical Use Cases: These functionalities will be pivotal in scenarios such as public health emergencies, major events, and MSSG-led preparedness activities, ensuring a coordinated response across the EU.
- Dedicated Training Opportunity: To support MAHs of Centrally Authorised Products (CAPs) and non-CAPs, a training session is scheduled for 19 February 2025, from 10:00 to 12:30 CET. This session will provide a comprehensive introduction to the new reporting processes and functionalities.
