At Asphalion we have keen sense of corporate social responsibility and commitment to sustainability, as well as community and employees welfare. With health being at the center of our business, we are enhancing our Corporate Social Responsibility programme with significant commitment to three of UN 2030 sustainable development goals.
This year we have set to meet sustainability goals built on three pillars: health and well-being, gender equality and responsible production and consumption. These will be the priority areas where Asphalion will set its focus, and are aligned with the UN 2030 sustainable development goals (SDGs).
The 17 SDGs are integrated, since they recognize that action in one area will affect outcomes in others, and that development must balance social, economic and environmental sustainability. The actions of companies have significant impacts on the lives of people, not just in terms of products and services, but also in terms of working conditions, human rights, health, the environment, innovation, education and training.
As Núria Romero, Managing Director highlights: “Asphalion´s 2022 CSR plan outlines the priorities we have set up for this year to continue to make a strong commitment to a more sustainable and inclusive world”.
