This week, the EU-funded HORIZON EUROPE project siNPAIN held its 8th progress meeting in Davos, bringing together project partners to review the status of each work package and discuss the final steps of this innovative initiative.
As the project enters its final stage — currently in month 50 of 54 — partners shared the latest achievements and ongoing activities towards the development of a personalised advanced therapy for osteoarthritis.
The siNPAIN project aims to combine siRNA technology, nanocarriers, and an enhanced hyaluronic acid-based intra-articular knee viscosupplement (IA-HA) to create a novel therapeutic approach tailored to different stages of osteoarthritis, helping improve patients’ quality of life.
Asphalion, as regulatory partner and leader of Work Package 6 (Regulatory), continues to support the project by guiding its regulatory strategy and pathway. During this meeting, our expert Joan Cabellos presented an overview of the key achievements and ongoing regulatory activities.
