The war in Ukraine is inflicting a heavy toll on both people and infrastructure, and although sometimes it seems there is no more war, the fact is that it is turning more cruel and inhumane as days go by.
At Asphalion we stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and would like to reaffirm our support and commitment. Asphalion contributed with a donation to the International Red Cross organization to help those in need. We have recently received a letter from the Catalan Red Cross president thanking us for helping them help, as well as a thank you note on the newspaper today. It is of the outmost importance to remain at their side, since the crisis is not over yet, and collaborations are and will be essential for those in need.
The ICRC’s is the largest humanitarian network in the world and is working on the ground, repairing vital infrastructure and supporting families with food and hygiene items, among others. Support them if you can. It makes a big difference for the people in Ukraine.
