OPEN DAY WORKSHOP | nTRACK Project

February 25, 2022

📆 14/03/2022   💻 ONLINE EVENT

The nTRACK Project is organising a conference on Stem Cell NanoImaging – Advances and Applications. This will be a great opportunity to learn about the results of the project, meet the project partners and learn about technologies that have been developed related to nanomaterials in biomedical applications. At ASPHALION we are regulatory partners of the project and would love to welcome you to the conference.

The nTRACK is an EU-funded Horizon 2020 project that aims to develop a safe and highly sensitive multimodal nano imaging agent enabling non-invasive, quantitative and longitudinal stem cell tracking and whole-body bio distribution. nTRACK will also provide information on cell (long-term) viability using the combination of CT, MRI and PET, which are imaging modalities that are clinically available.

A second goal is to establish a predictive model for early assessment of treatment effectiveness, based on short-term evaluation of the typical migration and bio distribution patterns of the stem cells. This predictive model could substantially improve overall management of the disease and will transform cell therapy treatment from “one size fits all’ concept towards personalised treatment.

HORIZON EUROPE PROJECT | KeratOPrinter Kick-Off Meeting

Corneal blindness affects over 11.7 million people worldwide, yet only 1 in 70 patients receive a corneal transplant due to a severe donor shortage. The KeratOPrinter project aims to address this gap by developing a groundbreaking 4D bioprinting suite capable of producing fully functional, biocompatible human corneas. Combining expertise from world-class partners, the project focuses on scalable cell sources, advanced bioinks, high-precision bioprinting, clinical handling solutions, regulatory compliance, and a strong collaborative network. By 2035, KeratOPrinter seeks to revolutionize corneal transplantation and restore vision for millions.
