MEDiCS project at BIOSPAIN

October 17, 2025

The MEDICS project made it to BIOSPAIN 2025 !

Last week, at Asphalion’s booth in BIOSPAIN, our team of experts shared insights on the MEDiCS project, a Horizon Europe-funded initiative tackling two critical cancer challenges: therapy resistance in colorectal cancer (CRC) and poor prognosis in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).

MEDiCS aims to advance the TRL from 3-4 to 5 through scalable manufacturing processes, GLP in-vivo studies, and the creation of a spin-out for commercialization. Asphalion is leading the regulatory roadmap, ensuring all study results are captured in the IMPD by the end of the project.

It was inspiring to discuss the project and its potential impact with visitors and showcase how innovation, research, and regulatory strategy come together to advance cancer therapy.
