Last week in Zagreb, we joined the partners of the FORCE REPAIR consortium at the 7th Progress Meeting, hosted by RISE – Research and Innovation Services, to discuss the latest advances in the development of a 3D printed multi-functional dressing for the treatment of chronic wounds.
ASPHALION is the regulatory partner of FORCE REPAIR, an EU-funded project focused on advancing chronic wound management. We provide regulatory support, define the appropriate regulatory framework, and have developed a regulatory roadmap and clinical development plan, ensuring compliance of processes and materials and supports engagement with regulators to validate the strategy, facilitating the translation of project results into a future patient-ready product. Our expert Jon Giblin represented ASPHALION, presenting recent progress, including the clinical development plan and preparations for interactions with regulators.
The meeting was packed with scientific progress from all work packages, with partners presenting their latest results, and alignment on the next steps to advance the technology platform was reached.
A big thank you to RISE – Research and Innovation Services for their hospitality and for hosting a productive meeting.
