As the EU-funded Horizon Europe SINPAIN project comes to an end, we are proud to look back on the scientific achievements, innovative approaches and valuable knowledge generated throughout these four and a half years of collaborative research.
From gaining new insights into the mechanisms underlying osteoarthritis pain and inflammation to exploring the potential of nanotechnology for innovative therapeutic approaches, SINPAIN has brought together expertise from across Europe to pave the way for future developments. Advanced disease models, medical imaging and artificial intelligence have also contributed to new tools and perspectives for osteoarthritis research.
As part of the project’s final activities, all partners presented the main results and achievements of their respective work packages. ASPHALION, as the regulatory partner and leader of Work Package 6 (WP6), presented the regulatory strategy developed throughout the project and the key outcomes delivered to support the future development of the siNPAIN therapy. Our experts Núria Coderch and Joan Cabellos represented ASPHALION and shared the final WP6 conclusions with the consortium.
As SINPAIN reaches this important milestone, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all project partners for their dedication, expertise and collaborative spirit. The joint efforts and commitment of the entire consortium have been instrumental in driving this ambitious EU-funded research forward.
