International Women’s Day is a global day to celebrate social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. This year’s campaign advocates for us all to #InspireInclusion. Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women’s equality. Collectively we can all Inspire Inclusion.
At Asphalion, women account for nearly 70% of the Company, and today, on the occasion of IWD24, we have held a workshop about “Gender equity”. Irene Delgado Guerrero, lawyer expert in labor compliance, equality, specialist in research and expert witness in occupational risk prevention, workplace harassment, and bullying, about many others, has held a virtual workshop about gender equality and work-related sexual harassment prevention. Irene has highlighted inclusion has to be undertaken in a transversal way, both within our society and companies. She has provided us with an overview of the various types of harassment and has offered detailed examples from real-life cases.
Also, we have introduced Asphalion’s protocol to prevent harassment by sex, orientation and identity within the Company.
