Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic ASPHALION has shown its commitment towards the fight against the virus. So far, during these past 15 months we have worked in 15 COVID-19 related projects.
We have also contributed to the development of 3 vaccines to fight COVID-19, providing Regulatory support in terms of IMPD, IB preparation and CTA, as well as for the development of a COVID-19 vaccine and a preventive one against SARS-CoV2.
ASPHALION has also collaborated in several projects related to the treatment of COVID-19 symptoms, as well as provided Pharmacovigilance Support during clinical trials.
Regarding Medical Devices, ASPHALION has collaborated in the classification of a software as Medical Device for the follow-up of COVID-19 patients. With regard to EU-funded projects, we have been Regulatory Partner in a project called VASCOVID, which aim is to develop a portable, non-invasive and real- time health monitoring platform for the evaluation of microvascular health in COVID-19 patients that are in intensive care units.

Because of this, at the onset of the pandemic we offered support free of charge to show our commitment towards the fight against COVID-19.
