One of the seventeen sustainable development goals of the UN 2030 agenda is responsible production and consumption, and this is one of the three main pillars of Asphalion´s Corporate Social Responsibility plan for 2022. This is why throughout the year we are carrying out actions to contribute to the achievement of this goal.
We would love to update you on some internal improvements that we have implemented and that, with the support of our team, will bring us closer to having a better and more sustainable working environment and, thus, a more sustainable world.
- We have installed and osmosis system at the office both for employees and for visitors. Glass bottles are used at meeting rooms to reduce plastic bottled water.
Also, we encourage our staff to bring their own refillable water bottle or to use Asphalion’s available mugs and refill them with osmosis water, available both cold and hot.
- Plastic, paper & other items recycling in all of our canteens. We have set up recycling bins in our canteens to facilitate the process for our employees.
- We have gone plastic-free! We got rid of plastic cutlery at our canteens! We have stainless steel cutlery available or employees can bring their own.
