The SDF is an extensible, portable text file encoding computer-readable chemical structures linked to associated #datafields. It is also commonly called an SD File or an .sdf.
On October 1st, 2022, the #FDA introduced this new method of submitting and registering chemical structures that would reduce evaluation time and limit errors.
