Today is World Cancer Day, a day to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection and treatment. At Asphalion we are committed to the fight against cancer. We have collaborated in several projects related to cancer research and medicines development, contributing with our expertise to this vital fight.
Our actions have an impact on everyone around us, within our neighbourhoods, communities and cities, and more than ever, our actions are also being felt across borders and oceans. This year is a reminder of the enduring power of cooperation and collective action. When we choose to come together, we can achieve what we all wish for: a healthier, brighter world without cancer.
The theme for this year’s World Cancer Day is “I Am And I Will”, recognising that our commitment to act will result in progress to reduce the impact of cancer globally. The aim of the campaign theme is to think about our actions and the impact on those around us. It is a reminder that, when we choose to come together, we can achieve a brighter future and work towards a world without cancer.
Together, all of our actions matter. Asphalion will continue to support the goals of World Cancer Day, as a company and as individuals. It is essential we work together to make cancer treatable, to help diagnosing it at earlier stages, and with endurable therapies driven by innovative technologies and scientific approaches.
