As part of the VASCOVID project, a paper titled “Assessment of power spectral density of microvascular hemodynamics in skeletal muscles at very low and low-frequency via near-infrared diffuse optical spectroscopies” has been published by the project partners.
The research paper has been led by ICFO and Politecnico di Milano, and from Asphalion Talyta Carteano and Diego Sanoja have participated as co-authors. The article has been published at the Biomedical Optics Express magazine, part of Optica Publishing Group and has been selected as the issue editor´s pick.
The paper evaluates the Medical Device created during the EU-funded project and validates the TD-NIRS and DCS technology that VASCOVID’s device uses as base.
