The SDF is an extensible, portable text file encoding computer-readable chemical structures linked to associated data fields. Is also commonly called an SD File or an .sdf.
On October 1st, 2022, the FDA introduced this new method of submitting and registering chemical structures that would reduce evaluation time and limit errors.
