Asphalion’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Sonia López as new Pharmacovigilance Director.
Sonia López has a Pharmacy degree from the University of Barcelona and holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacovigilance and Post-Authorisation Studies from the University of Sevilla.
She has over 20 year’s expertise in the pharmaceutical industry, carrying out different roles, such as being responsible for the PV system of medicinal products, PMS System of Medical Devices and their Quality Systems for several companies and their international partner’s network. She has taken on the EU-QPPV and local QPPV role for several companies. She also worked for several years in a multinational company in the Medical Affairs area and has expertise in audits and in the development and maintenance of all PV and PMS activities. Furthermore, she has wide experience as teacher and speaker in several congresses and courses. Additionally, she is Manager and Coordinator of the Scientific Committee of Pharmacovigilance of the Spanish Association of Industry Pharmacists (AEFI) and has collaborated with the Spanish competent authorities for the elaboration of the Good Pharmacovigilance Practices.
