Our Horizon Europe Project ARDAT made it to CPHI 2026!
During the event, our team had the opportunity to present the Horizon Europe project in which Asphalion is involved.
The ARDAT project, a collaboration of 32 international partners from academia, industry, and small/medium enterprises, is focused on advancing our knowledge in viral gene/cell therapy to accelerate the development of new treatments for rare diseases.
Advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) such as cell and gene therapies have the potential to revolutionize treatments for many serious genetic diseases as well as some cancers. However, developing ATMPs is extremely challenging; in particular, it is currently very difficult to know which patients will respond well to an advanced therapy and which will experience serious side effects.
The aim of ARDAT is to deliver the knowledge, tools and standards needed to speed up the development of ATMPs.
