Our Horizon Europe Projects made it to MEDICA!
During the event, our team was able to talk about some of the Horizon Europe Projects Asphalion is part of:
KeratOPrinter aims to develop a 4D bioprinting suite, centered around regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, that can deliver a fully functional, biocompatible, full-thickness native-like human cornea. The aim is to enable millions of people to receive vision-saving therapy.
HydroHeal is an ongoing research project aiming to transform how we treat complex bone fractures. Designed with both patients and clinicians in mind, the injectable hydrogel is being developed to promote natural healing, enable precise drug delivery, and help prevent infection – all with minimal surgery and the potential for significant clinical impact.
Echilibrist project aims to Reduce Child Mortality in Africa. It enhances children’s lives with biomarkers for risk stratification and triage. They develop a point-of-care test to assess risk of death in all types of infections to reduce mortality and optimize health care resources.
The project Methylomic is aiming to enhance the effectiveness of medication in chronic immune-mediated diseases such as Crohn’s Disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Psoriasis. They aim specifically for the so-called biologicals, which are antibodies designed to target an inflammatory protein to reduce inflammation.
