Last week in Siena, we joined the partners of the IMMUTOL project for its 3rd Annual Meeting to review key milestones, share progress updates, and align on the next steps of this innovative EU-funded initiative.
IMMUTOL aims to accelerate the development and validation of an Advanced Therapy Medicinal Product (ATMP) based on optimized vitamin D3-modified tolerogenic dendritic cells, with the goal of treating patients with immune-mediated diseases, particularly Multiple Sclerosis.
The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to present the scientific progress achieved across all work packages, with partners sharing their latest advances and discussing the roadmap ahead to further support the development of this promising therapy.
As a proud regulatory partner in the IMMUTOL project, Asphalion was represented by Montse de Castellarnau and Irene Urrecho, who contributed to the discussion on the regulatory strategy for the upcoming interaction with the regulatory authority.
