The second progress meeting of the FORCE REPAIR project, took place in Gijon, Spain on 28-29th November 2023.
The meeting was attended by Jon Giblin from ASPHALION, who presented the latest progress on the establishment of a Regulatory Roadmap to guide the development of a smart, multifunctional, and cost-effective 3D-printed wound dressing.
ASPHALION is the proud Regulatory partner of FORCE REPAIR, a project funded by the European Union dedicated to advancing chronic wound management. In addition to providing regulatory support to FORCE REPAIR Wounds partners, ASPHALION will identify the appropriate regulatory framework at the start of the project and elaborate a regulatory roadmap, ensure regulatory compliance of processes and materials, and engage with regulators to ensure validation of the regulatory strategy. This will ensure the efficient translation of the results obtained in FORCE REPAIR to support the development of a product that can reach patients in the future.
