Discover IMMUTOL: Advancing innovative therapies for autoimmune diseases

October 28, 2026

We are pleased to share the new video showcasing IMMUTOL, a Horizon Europe-funded project bringing together European partners to advance research into innovative treatments for autoimmune diseases.

What is IMMUTOL aiming to achieve?

IMMUTOL seeks to pave the way for new tolerogenic cell-based therapies designed to restore immune tolerance and address autoimmune diseases with significant unmet medical needs, particularly multiple sclerosis (MS). By developing advanced antigen-specific dendritic cell-based therapies, the project aims to deliver more potent and durable treatment approaches for immune-mediated diseases.

ASPHALION’s role in IMMUTOL

As the project’s regulatory partner and leader of Work Package 6, ASPHALION guides the consortium through the appropriate regulatory pathway, helping address key regulatory considerations as these innovative therapeutic approaches progress through research and development.

The video, prepared during IMMUTOL’s 3rd Annual Meeting, offers insights into the project’s objectives and the collaborative efforts driving this European research initiative forward.

A special thank you to all consortium members who took part in the interviews and helped bring IMMUTOL’s vision to life!
