The EDQM is preparing a remake of their Certificates of Suitability (CEPs) to provide with an improved tool that can meet the needs of all stakeholders (CEP holders, Industry, Authorities, etc.). In order to address the key points that worry the stakeholders, the EDQM opened a wide public consultation, and is now processing the feedback to design the remake of the CEPs.

Even though the new CEP is not meant to be released until 2023, it has already been stated that it will be designed to improve the use of tools to facilitate the use and update of CEPs, easing reference to CEPs in MAs and simplifying variations linked to CEPs.

However, what will this really mean for the stakeholders at the end of the day? We will have to wait and see, but rest assured we will bring you all the news as soon as they are released.

Stay tuned!
