Asphalion’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Bernat Autonell as the new Information Technology Director.
Bernat Autonell has a Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Engineering and a Master’s degree in Information Technology Security. Before 2012, he held various positions in different companies, managing the IT infrastructure and developing applications.
Bernat started working at Asphalion in January, 2012 as Information Technology Manager. His main responsibilities are planning, analysing and implementing IT solutions in support of business objectives. He is responsible for the computer systems within the company; maintaining integrity and security of the whole IT infrastructure; managing day-to-day IT tasks and workloads, establishing schedules and conducting performance reviews; planning and deploying IT related technologies and solutions; providing training on IT topics to the Asphalion´s team and establishing processes and work instructions, among others.
According to Bernat:
