On World AIDS Day 2023, WHO honours and acknowledges the invaluable contributions of communities in spearheading the response to HIV under the theme “Let communities lead.”
Communities affected by HIV, including networks of key populations and youth leaders, have played and continue to play a crucial role in advancing the HIV response by offering prevention, testing, and treatment support services, fostering trust, developing innovative solutions, advocating for health, overseeing policy and programming implementation, among many other.
Empowering communities to take the lead is pivotal to putting an end to AIDS globally, and this year’s theme serves as a compelling call to action, urging the facilitation and support of communities in their leadership roles.
At Asphalion we are committed with the goal of eradicating AIDS by 2030 and, for that, we raise awareness and we innovate, having taken part as Regulatory partners in several AIDS-related projects, because our team’s mission is our passion: working together with our clients in order to generate ideas and implement solutions that contribute to improving health in all our lives.
