Yesterday, at Asphalion, we had the privilege of hosting an inspiring talk by Elisa Iniesta from Equality Momentum, who highlighted the immense potential of language as a tool for change. The way we communicate can either reinforce stereotypes or help break them down. By choosing our words consciously, we not only foster inclusion but also contribute to building a more equitable society. Language has the power to transform the world!
Today, on International Women’s Day, we want to reaffirm our strong commitment to gender equality. With 70% of our team being women, including the same percentage in our scientific team, we take pride in fostering an inclusive and empowering environment where everyone has equal opportunities to grow and thrive.
This year’s IWD theme, “Accelerate Action”, reminds us of the urgency to push forward gender equality and unlock equal rights, power, and opportunities for all women and girls. Equality is not just a goal—it’s a daily commitment. At Asphalion, we believe that true transformation begins with small yet meaningful actions. Language is one of the most powerful tools we have to drive this change, and we encourage everyone to use it thoughtfully!
