Sonia López
Pharmacovigilance Director
European Qualified Person Responsible for Pharmacovigilance.
She holds a Pharmacy Degree from the University of Barcelona and a Master’s Degree in Pharmacovigilance and Post-Authorization Studies from the University of Sevilla.
With over 25 years of expertise in the pharmaceutical industry, Sonia has fulfilled various roles, including overseeing the Pharmacovigilance system of medicinal products, Post-Marketing Surveillance System of Medical Devices, and their Quality Systems for several companies and their international partner networks. She has also served as the EU-QPPV and local QPPV for multiple companies.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, Sonia serves as the Manager and Coordinator of the Scientific Committee of Pharmacovigilance of the Spanish Association of Industry Pharmacists (AEFI) and has collaborated with Spanish competent authorities in developing Good Pharmacovigilance Practices.
Laura Eder
Associate Director
of Asphalion’s Pharmacovigilance Department
With a PhD in Biomedical Research from the University of Navarra, Laura has earned distinction with Cum Laude honors by unanimity and the mention of European Doctor. Her educational background encompasses Biology & Biochemistry, along with a Master’s Degree in Health Administration. Laura brings extensive experience in Biomedical Research from both national and international research laboratories, as well as expertise as an Assistant Professor in General Genetics and Human Genetics.
Laura possesses a robust understanding of Pharmacovigilance and Health Product Surveillance, acquired through her roles in the pharmaceutical industry and scientific consultancy. She has served as EU-QPPV, Deputy or Local QPPV, and Deputy for third-party companies, in addition to conducting Pharmacovigilance Audits, Medical Writing, and various Pharmacovigilance activities.
