We are thrilled to announce the beginning of the MEDiCS project, a cutting-edge research initiative funded under Horizon Europe’s EIC Transition grant. Part of this ambitious project Asphalion experts Marta Rayo, Enrique Gutierrez and Montse Domingo attended the kick-off meeting.
Our experts presented the regulatory roadmap and estimated timeline for this project.
The project’s primary focus will be on addressing two critical cancer challenges: therapy resistance in colorectal cancer (CRC) and poor prognosis in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). MEDiCS aims to advance the current TRL from 3-4 to 5 by developing scalable manufacturing processes, progressing GLP in-vivo studies, and creating a spin-out for commercialization.
Asphalion will prepare a comprehensive regulatory roadmap of the product; followed by an initial meeting with a regulatory authority; by the end of the project the IMPD will be drafted with including the information of all results of the studies generated during the project
