This October, Asphalion joins the global effort to raise awareness of breast cancer, reaffirming our commitment to a world where every person affected receives the support, care and treatment they deserve. Guided by the 2026 theme, “Every story is unique, every journey matters,” we recognize that behind every diagnosis is an individual journey that deserves compassion, dignity and comprehensive care.
Breast cancer remains a major global health challenge. In 2024, approximately 2.4 million women were diagnosed worldwide, and 694,000 died from the disease. Despite advances in research and treatment, significant inequalities in access to early diagnosis and quality care persist across countries and communities. Early detection, timely diagnosis and access to effective treatment are essential to improving outcomes and saving lives.
At Asphalion, we are proud to have provided scientific and regulatory support to more than 20 projects focused on cancer treatment and diagnosis. Our commitment to advancing healthcare drives us to collaborate with our clients, translating scientific knowledge into regulatory solutions that help bring innovative treatments and diagnostic tools to patients.
This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we stand alongside patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, researchers and organizations working to improve breast cancer outcomes. We believe that progress requires continued scientific innovation, equitable access to healthcare and a patient-centred approach that recognizes every individual’s needs and experiences.
Together, we can help close the gaps in cancer care, support those affected and contribute to a future where every patient has access to the diagnosis, treatment and support they need.
Every story is unique. Every journey matters. No one should face breast cancer alone.
