Today, we celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. Women still represent less than one third of the world’s researchers, highlighting the urgent need for more inclusive STEM ecosystems. Closing the gender gap is not only about fairness; it is essential for the quality, relevance and impact of science and innovation.
At Asphalion, we actively work to help transform this landscape by creating a culture where women are empowered to grow, lead, and shape innovation. Our leadership team is a clear example of this commitment:
- Our CEO is a scientist and a woman.
- 75.15% of our scientists are women.
- 62.5% percent of our directors are women.
We are committed to advancing equality, expanding opportunities, and removing barriers so that future generations of women in science have the visibility and support they deserve. Science can only achieve its true impact when everyone has a place at the table.
A heartfelt thank you to our colleagues who shared photos and reflections about their dreams as little girls. Their stories and images remind us that every woman in science began as a curious child with aspirations, dreams that, with encouragement and opportunity, can grow into meaningful careers and lasting impact.
Join us in celebrating the accomplishments of women in STEM and promoting a more inclusive future. Watch our special video and be part of the conversation on diversity, opportunity, and empowerment in science.
