At Asphalion, we take pride in our commitment to help and, because of this, this year we have contributed making a donation supporting three key causes: Asociación Española contra el Cáncer (AECC), Fundación Pasqual Maragall and la Marató de TV3.
The Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC) involves patients, families, volunteers and professionals, who work together to prevent, inform, be with people, and fund cancer research projects to foster better diagnosis and treatment. Its mission is to fight against cancer and lead the effort of society as a whole to reduce the impact caused by the disease.
Founded in 2008, Fundación Pasqual Maragall for the investigation of Alzheimer’s disease works with the objective to end this illness through science and innovation, preventing the disease and improving the life of both patients and caregivers. Their dream is that of a future without Alzheimer´s where getting old is associated with positive experiences.
La Marató de TV3 was set up in 1996 with the mission of encouraging and promoting biomedical research of excellence, as well as the social awareness-raising about the illnesses featured in the programme through citizen participation campaigns and actions involving dissemination and education.
Part of our company donations to La Marató de Barcelona 2025 and the Spanish Association Against Cancer came directly from Asphalion, and the rest was contributed through our Christmas hamper donations. Thanks to the generosity of our colleagues, we have been able to increase our impact and support these causes even further.
